A personal DVR for TikTok live streams, run by a small independent team.
What LiveReplays is
LiveReplays is a recording service for TikTok live streams. You name the creators you follow; the platform watches those accounts around the clock, notices the moment one goes live, and records the broadcast from start to finish. The video and audio are copied through exactly as they arrive — nothing is re-encoded — so the replay is the stream, not a lossy copy of it. When the broadcast ends, the finished file appears in your library, where only your account can open it. There is nothing to install, nothing to keep running on your own machine, and no need to be awake when a creator goes live.
Who runs it
LiveReplays is built and operated by a small independent team rather than a large company, and it is funded entirely by the people who pay for it — there is no advertising and no data brokerage. Our registered company details, along with the support, privacy and copyright contact addresses, are published on the support page so anyone can see exactly who they are dealing with before paying for anything.
How the service is built
Monitoring, capture and storage all run on our infrastructure. Recordings are written straight to object storage as they are captured rather than being held on a machine that could fail mid-broadcast, and a dropped connection to a stream is reconnected in place so the same file keeps growing instead of splitting in two. Plans differ in how much you can keep and for how long — the details are on the pricing section of the home page and in the FAQ.
What LiveReplays deliberately does not do
Being explicit about the limits is more useful than a feature list, so here is what the service will not do:
- It does not publish a public catalogue of recordings. A replay is visible only to the account that asked for it.
- It does not download arbitrary video links, and it does not work on platforms other than TikTok.
- It cannot recover a stream that has already ended — monitoring has to be in place before a creator goes live.
- It does not sell, rent or trade your data, does not use it to train AI models, and does not run advertising.
Creators and privacy
Creators can have their live streams excluded from capture at any time through the opt-out form, without holding an account, and copyright holders can file a notice through the DMCA page. Both are handled by a person within 48 hours. What we collect about account holders, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted are set out in full in the privacy policy.
